ZING! It was a normal day in the life of Future-Robot-Mark-One, who had been designed as a girl robot but liked to call herself Mark Robot. She was sent so fast that the speed of her journey broke time. She was sent from the future into the past. Will you join her on her mission at Chalkwell Park?

Hello, Friend Monster is a story devised by children from Westborough School, working with writer, Vahni Capildeo, illustrator, Claire Softley and facilitators Emma Mollica and Simon Poulter. It has two modes - Play in the Park uses GPS to lay the story zones onto the park and Read the Story is for reading at home.

Narration is by David Streams with recording and sound by Andrew Delaney.

The story is commissioned by Metal as part of NetPark, a unique digital art project mapping stories and artist projects onto Chalkwell Park.
